Our opinion on the Castel Beach
Castel Beach in Nice is a public beach made up of stones. We also find a private beach here, open from April to September, with a restaurant and mattress rentals near the harbor. This pebbled beach extends for 150 meters and does not have a lifeguard. The first-aid station can be found at 150 meters away on Ponchettes Beach.
This beach is the easternmost from Quai des Etats-Unis, facing hotel Suisse and the hill of the chateau. Access is available from the promenade on the seafront and about 30 stair steps.
This beach offers a beautiful view of the seafront of Nice and the Baie des Anges (Angels Bay). Like the other beaches in Nice, this beach is facing the south.
