Calanque de Malmousque in Marseille - France

We are on the peninsula de Malmousque near the chemin du Genie. We have a nice view of the calanque. In the middle is a monument to the dead that dominates the neighborhood Vallon des Auffes and in the background is Marseille's harbor.

This calanque is surrounded by villages houses glued to one another. In the middle is a little harbor and on the left is the path that leads to the rocks. In the summer there are several people here.

The people of Marseille like to lay out on the rocks. This site is rather secretive and we find hardly any tourists!

From this calanque, we can see the famous “rocher des pendus”.

Here is Malmousque seen from the sea. On the right are the buildings of the foreign legion and in the middle is the calanque.
