Our opinion on the Breton Beach – Sheep Beach
Breton beach in La Turballe (or Sheep Beach - Plage des Biches) begins at the port and stretches over Great Cliff beach towards Pen-Bron. This sandy beach is easily accessible and has a first aid station in summer (on Bellanger Boulevard). This beach bears the Handiplage label at the aid station where Tiralo are available. There is also a kids club with an indoor pool. One can enjoy water activities in the area closest to the port. Beautiful houses border the area closest to the city centre, which gives a foretaste of Brittany. Further away, one can enjoy the dunes, which give it a wilder side. There are also some rocks at low tide.

This central beach in La Turballe is located next to the harbour. There are some rocks at low tide. The environment is pleasant with houses typical of the Loire-Atlantique region on the edge.
This large sandy beach stretches for several kilometres towards Pen-Bron (you can see on the picture the beginning of the forest on the right).
This beach is located next to La Turballe harbour. Access by Quai St-Jacques is via stairs.
