Boucanet Beach in Le Grau-du-Roi - France

We are near Passe des Abimes. Across is Levant Beach in La Grande Motte. This beach is the first beach in the seaside resort. It is located along the pinewood of Boucanet (behing RD 255).

We are looking toward the center of Grau du Roi. To the left is a campsite. Note that this first zone is not lifeguarded and that there is neither a shower nor WC.

We are at entrance number two of this beach, just in front of the university hospital and the reeducation center. This beach has a lifeguard in the summer and is labeled as handicap accessible.

Just before the reeducation center (behind us) the environment of this beach is rather wild with a few dunes.

The second access is equipped for those with reduced mobility.

At the second entrance we find parking along RD 255.

This photo was taken after the hospital. The environment seems agreeable.

We are near the reeducation center and we are looking toward Port Camargue.

We are near Boulevard Jean Bastide. This zone near downtown has a lifeguard in the summer.
