Our opinion on the Biche Beach
Facing north, Biche Beach in Locmaria is one of the largest coves between Galères Beach and Grands Sables Beach. It has the distinction of being sheltered not by either relief or high cliffs, like its neighbours, but by a grove. There is a little vegetation in the background, with sea purslane and sea cakilier. The environment is favourable and hidden from view, which attracts people attempting wild bivouacs, obviously prohibited. But who would not try? The fort of La Biche, which became private property, dominates the beach.

Reliefs lower than around the nearby coves, but enough to be sheltered from the wind without losing too much sunshine.
Benefits that these wild bivouaqueurs have not failed to notice (who have not stayed there only "for the night").
Light yellow sand and reasonably natural foreshore.
The slope at low tide remains gently sloping.
Many tamarisks and a grove (the one surrounding the private property of the former fort of La Biche) protect the beach from view and from the prevailing winds. Not from the sun.
It is good on two wheels. Otherwise, one has to park above. And where possible.
