Our opinion on the Quend Beach
The beach of the city center of Quend is the main beach of the seaside resort of Picardy. It stretches along the seawall promenade for about 300 meters. It is the only area monitored in summer. The sand is white and extra-fine. At low tide, the sea may withdraw one kilometre, leaving room for shellfish (shells, knives, clams, crabs...).
This area is equipped for disabled people (provision of tiralos, inquire at the aid station located in the center of the beach).
Many parking spaces are available on the seafront. They are charged in season. There is also a big car park in rue Abbeville.

The beach of the city centre of Quend stretches along the dikes. There is fine sand. Note that at high tides, the sea withdraws 1 km.
Southward (on the left), the beach stretches several kilometres in a totally wild environment.
There is a pleasant seawall promenade along the beach.
In the center of the dike, a first aid station monitors the beach from June to September.
On the seafront, there are many car parks. They are charged in season. There are free places in the perpendicular streets.
