Our opinion on the Nonza Beach
Nonza Beach is undoubtedly the most original beach on the west coast of Corsica. Located below the hilltop village of Nonza, 1.4 km of small grey gravels cover this unique beach in Cap Corse. This coating comes from an old asbestos extraction plant in Canari (about 15 km away)! Checks were made by the DDASS and no risk was detected! Access is via a staircase from the village of Nonza. More than 500 steps are necessary to reach this beach...
