Our opinion on the Cayeux Beach
The beach of Cayeux sur Mer stretches several kilometres. The most popular area is in the city center (near the Casino). The beach is pebbly at high tide with sand at low tide. The northern part is more pleasant as the beach is far from the road (a large lawn separate them).
It is possible to rent beach huts in summer (there are more than 400 over the entire length of the beach - there is a boardwalk leading from one to the other).
In the central area, there is a playground for children with a pool.
Note that the beach is monitored in summer (by area, several first aid stations). Dogs on leash are allowed on the beach.

At high tide, there is a vast expanse of pebbles on the beach of Cayeux sur Mer. There is sand at low tide. There are different cabins huts with a boardwalk on the left (there are over 400, for rent in summer).
Northward, the beach stretches several kilometres in a more protected and wild environment.
As one can seen in this photo (blue sign), dogs on leash are allowed on this beach in Picardy.
Côte d’Albâtre in Seine Maritime is in the background of this picture.
Near the casino and the center of Cayeux, the beach is separated from the road by a lawn.
On the seafront, there is a playground for children with a pool.
