Our opinion on the Barcos Espessado Calanque
Barcos Espessado Cove is located in front of the access to the tower of Poméguet. It is only covered in rocks; it is difficult to find a place to put one’s towel down. Access to the sea is tricky. This cove is not very interesting... There are much better coves on Ile de Frioul. We think it is best to avoid it.
The access to this cove is located across the road, providing access to the tower of Poméguet (after the mouth of the port of Pomègues). The trail is on the right and goes directly down to the sea.
