Our opinion on the Abatilles Beach
Abatilles Beach in Arcachon (also called Arbousiers Beach) is located to the southwest of downtown going toward Pyla. From here, we have a nice view of Cap-Ferret. We are near the Bassin d'Arcachon. There is lifeguard from mid-June to mid-September.
Near this beach we find Péreire park with a swimming pool, a thalassotherapy center and a tennis club. A free parking lot is available.
We find a nice pedestrian promenade along the sea as well as shaded rest areas.
This is a renowned spot for the practice of windsurfing.
